Paul Julian: prayers needed.

Beautiful, wonderful news! Paul Julian, the latest addition to my family, was born on the 18th.
However, I have an urgent prayer request for you all. Little Paul is in the hospital right now due to a severe case of jaundice. His bilirubin level is drastically higher than it should be, which can potentially damage his brain and hearing. Mom just called to tell me that things are getting more complicated and that he is getting blood transfusions.
Brothers and sisters in Christ, please pray for our new, precious blessing! Pray especially that his little brain would be protected. Pray that his UV treatment in the hospital would be effective.
Lord! This is so scary.
Leaning on Him,
--Gray

Dearest Friend,
my prayers as well as my family' will not end until PJ is home and in all of your arms.

Here are some verses that I find help me in scary times, I hope they can comfurt you and your family as well,

Exo 34:6 The LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness,

Psa 9:10 And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Psa 56:3 When I am afraid,
I put my trust in you.

Psa 56:4 In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me?

Psa 91:2 I will say of the LORD , "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust."

Exo 15:13 "In your unfailing love you will lead
the people you have redeemed.
In your strength you will guide them
to your holy dwelling.

Psa 31:7 I will be glad and rejoice in your love,
for you saw my affliction
and knew the anguish of my soul.

Psa 33:18 But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,

We'll be praying! I had a similar thing happen to my little brother, Simon, but not as severe. Simon pulled out of it by God's grace, and I'll be praying that Paul Julian will, too!

Oh, blessings on you and your family! I'll pray for you guys.
Here's a verse that I find comforting:

Isaiah 58:8-9 "Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer;
you shall cry, and he will say, 'Here I am.'"

Oh, Grace! I can imagine that that must be frightening. But how comforting to know that we can always rest in the arms of our Lord and Creator!! I'll be praying.
